Today we held out second Virginia Catfish Nation tournament for 2008 on the mighty James River (Hopewell). The day started of very foggy, and most teams had to deal with it while getting bait. However at launch time, most of the heavy fog had lifted, and a bone chilling high humidity day with a light breezes had set in. Most would say the bite was very slow, for most ot the day, However a few nice fish were brought to the scales. |
1st Place and $260.00 would go to the team of Steve Tomlin , Eddie Willey & Johnny Carterwith their fish of 62.8 & 41.6 = 104.4 and they would also take home big fish jack pot of $240.00 as well 2nd place and $163.00 would go to the team of Chris Eberwien,Allen Conner,Kyle Moore & Barry Jones with their fish of 50.8 & 41.4 = 92.2 lbs 3rd place and $98.00 went to Rodney Lamm, John Dubbing & Johnny Breeden with fish of 60.8 & 28.8 = 89.6 lbs 4.
